A voltage sensitive relay that automatically connects a circuit or auxiliary battery once the source voltage rises to the cut-in level (13.3V) — i.e. once the vehicle is charging — and disconnects it when voltage drops to 12.7V, protecting the start battery from being flattened. The 5-second cut-out delay prevents nuisance disconnection during momentary voltage dips.

Microprocessor controlled, with built-in surge protection, an LED status indicator and silver-tipped contacts for durability. The weatherproof IP65 body suits surface or firewall mounting. Rated 140A continuous (160A peak for 60 seconds) at 12V. A 150A fuse and minimum 16mm² cable are recommended; terminal torque 6.5 N·m.
