Denso Starter Brush Holder (Common 87-201)

Information

The brush holder locates the starter brushes against the commutator and keeps them under spring pressure so current can flow into the armature. A worn, cracked or shorted brush holder causes slow cranking, intermittent starting or a starter that won't turn at all. The SBH6007 suits common Denso starter motors fitted to Toyota, Suzuki, Isuzu and Kubota.

Check the old holder against the listed dimensions and cross-reference numbers before fitting. Replace worn brushes at the same time and inspect the commutator for wear or scoring. Disconnect the battery before removing the starter motor.
