The Projecta IDC50XIQ is a 50A DC-DC battery charger with built-in MPPT solar regulator, supplied with the Intelli-IQ (IQD2) Smart Display. Designed for 4WDs, camper trailers and caravans, it charges an auxiliary battery from the vehicle alternator and solar at the same time, with full monitoring and control from the display or your phone.

The IDC50XIQ pairs Projecta's high-output IDC50X DC-DC charger with the Intelli-IQ (IQD2) Smart Display for a complete dual-battery power-management system. It charges from the alternator and solar simultaneously, with solar prioritised to reduce alternator load and fuel use, and an integrated MPPT regulator to draw maximum power from the panels even in low light.

Built for harsh conditions: the unit is fully potted with thermal epoxy resin for heat dissipation and vibration resistance, and carries IP68 and IP69K ratings for dust, water immersion and high-pressure washing — suitable for engine-bay mounting. Multi-stage (3- and 5-stage) charging with automatic temperature and voltage-drop compensation looks after the battery across AGM, Gel, Wet Cell, Calcium and Lithium (LiFePO4) chemistries, and a lithium wake-up mode can activate charging even when a battery's BMS has shut off.

The Intelli-IQ display and Projecta IQ smartphone app (iOS/Android, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support) let you monitor solar/alternator input, current, battery voltage and charge stage in real time, configure settings and update firmware. Engineered and tested in Australia. 5-year warranty.
