The controller wires straight to the battery positive, so there's no need to find an ignition feed. It monitors battery voltage (and engine vibration on this advanced version) to switch the DayLights on when the engine starts, and off when the headlamps are switched on or the engine stops, with about a 10-second off delay.

One controller runs two lamps, up to 20W continuous. Terminals: 30 battery (+), 31 earth, 86 front position or headlamps (+), DL1 and DL2 to the DayLights.
