A change-over relay switches the supply on terminal 30 between two outputs: 87a when the coil is at rest and 87 when it is energised. Use it to swap between two circuits (such as low and high beam) or as a heavy-duty normally open or normally closed switch. A resistor across the coil suppresses switching spikes to protect sensitive electronics.

Wiring: 30 to fused battery positive, 87 to the load, 87a to the alternative load, 86 to the switched positive and 85 to earth. It has three 4.8mm blade terminals (85 86 and 87a) and two 6.3mm blade terminals. Coil draw is 140mA and there is no mounting bracket.
