The Duofit spring-operated override coupling applies the trailer's hydraulic brakes automatically as the trailer overruns the tow vehicle. Trojan's Duofit couplings are the only couplings that comply fully with the New Zealand towball-coupling standard NZS5232:1993 in all respects, and fit both 50mm and 1⅞" tow balls.

Made from high-grade cast iron with heavy corrosion protection for long, maintenance-free service. Supplied with a ¾" master cylinder and standard spring. Mounting is by four high-tensile bolts in one of NZ's most common bolt patterns.
