Gates V-belts use a fibre-loaded neoprene (polychloroprene) compound for heat and wear resistance, moulded notches that reduce bending stress around small pulleys, and form-ground sidewalls for a precise fit in the pulley groove. In the Gates size code, 11A is the 11mm top width and 1180 is the 1180mm belt length.

Listed applications include the Ford Falcon, Peugeot 505 and Holden Commodore - see the Applications tab for engines and years. Fitment can vary with engine and accessory options, so check against the old belt before fitting. Replace belts that are cracked, glazed or frayed, and set tension to the maker's specification - an over-tight belt wears bearings, a loose one squeals and slips.

  • 11mm top width x 1180mm length (1195mm outer)
  • Moulded-notch design flexes easily around small pulleys
  • Fibre-loaded neoprene compound resists heat and wear
  • Form-ground sidewalls for a precise pulley fit
  • Fits Ford Falcon, Peugeot 505, Holden Commodore and more
  • Built to meet or exceed OE specifications
  • Brand: Gates
